Rich is a company principal and president, Eastern Washington Real Estate Division with over 22 years of experience in the real estate industry. He is a member of the National Association of Review Appraisers & Mortgage Underwriters and a qualified underwriter and appraiser for both FNMA and FreddieMac.
He attended Eastern Washington State College and is responsible for client development and mortgage placement in Eastern Washington, Idaho, and Montana. Close Bio
Strategy
Compass Group was founded in 1968. Washington Capital Management acquired Compass Group in 1997. Rich Hardan, President of Eastern Washington Real Estate Division, is a shareholder and Director of Washington Capital Management. Compass Group has a core of repeat borrowers which has allowed the group to originate many loans over the years with above average credit characteristics and competitive interest rates.
Compass Group primarily originates loans in the Pacific Northwest which has historically experienced superior economic growth. This is in contrast to the Mortgage Income strategy which invests over a larger geographic area. Investment guidelines are similar for both the Mortgage Income and Compass Mortgage strategies.
Effective August 2009, Compass Group formally changed its name to Washington Capital Management, Inc.
